COMPREHENSIVE RENOVATIONS-PHASE I

Programming/Design 2003-05; Construction 2015-07

PROJECT:
Main facility consisted of Sanctuary wing and an educational wing built eight years apart. Poor quality construction and lack of deferred maintenance over the years had created some complicated deteriorating conditions. A questionable state of being a "sick building" provided immediate concern at getting this symptom and other functional, operational challenges improved on or eliminated. Facilities not only were having consistent and frequent systems failures, it had mounting code and ADA non-compliant issues.
 

PROJECT DETAILS:

  • Expanded Commercial Kitchen

  • Upgraded restrooms to comply with ADA guidelines

  • Classrooms upgraded to have added Storage, Work Areas, 

     new interior finish, and self-contained HVAC units

  • Corridors architecturally enhanced with unique features

  • New chairlifts, new exterior ADA ramps and stairs

  • All new window units with sun screening panels

  • All new door hardware

  • New electrical system and  light fixtures

  • New plumbing lines & equipment

  • New HVAC systems and equipment

  • New roof systems

  • New fire alarm and security systems
